Terms of Service

What you are buying

• A monthly email newsletter that lists open and upcoming documentary funding calls. Each listing shows the funder, the amount where stated, the deadline, who can apply as the funder states it, and a link to the funder's own page.
• One issue is sent on the first Tuesday of each month to the email address you give when you sign up.
• Annual plan only: you can reply to any issue with a funder, foundation or state grant you want covered. We will tell you by email whether it will be added. We do not promise to add every request.

Plans and payment

• Annual: $79 US dollars, billed once a year. Monthly: $15 US dollars, billed every month.
• Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• The Annual rate of $79 stays the same for as long as your subscription continues without a break. For Monthly, we will email you before any price change applies to your next payment.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Dodo's own terms apply to the payment. Taxes may be added at checkout.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel any time, and you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give refunds, except when we have billed you in error. The details are on the cancellation and refunds page.

Information only

• Docket is information, not advice. Funding bodies change dates, rules and eligibility, sometimes without notice.
• We read each funder's own page and link to it, and we say "not stated" when a page does not say. We cannot promise that a listing is complete, current or free of mistakes.
• You are responsible for checking the funder's own page before you apply, and for your own applications. We do not guarantee that you will receive funding.
• We are not connected to any funder. Funder names belong to their owners.
• If you find a mistake, email us. We will correct it and note the correction in the next issue.

Using the newsletter

Issues are for your own use. Please do not republish or resell them in bulk. Forwarding an issue to a colleague is fine.

If something goes wrong

• If an issue does not arrive, check your spam folder and then email us.
• We may change these terms. We will email subscribers about changes that affect them.
• Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law where you live.
